Established in 1979 under the State of Cambodia, the Foreign Trade Bank of Cambodia (FTB) was separated from the National Bank of Cambodia in 2000 to operate as a state-owned commercial bank and Public Economic Enterprise.
In January 2001, FTB received its first commercial banking license, operating independently from central bank management. Following subsequent renewals, the bank secured an indefinite commercial banking license on December 21, 2006.
As the first local commercial bank in Cambodia, FTB has delivered safe, reliable banking services to customers for nearly 50 years.
